Upzy is an alarm app that uses missions (math, steps, camera, QR scan, and more) to help you actually get out of bed. For help, billing questions, or bug reports, email us — we read every message.

Account & billing
- Sign in with Apple, Google, or email from the app’s onboarding screen.
- Lost your Pro features? Open Settings → Restore purchases while signed in with the same store account you used to buy.
- Manage or cancel your subscription: Apple subscriptions · Google Play subscriptions.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their store policies. We are not able to issue refunds directly.
In-app actions
- Settings: tap the gear icon on the home screen.
- Delete account: Settings → Delete account. Your data is removed from our database within 30 days.
- Notification permissions: Settings → Notifications, then enable alerts, sounds, and banners. On iOS also enable Time Sensitive and Critical Alerts if prompted.
- Missions & trials: mission types and trial status are visible from the alarm editor and the paywall respectively.
Frequently asked questions
Alarms aren’t firing or aren’t full-screen
Make sure notifications are allowed for Upzy and that the app isn’t restricted by Focus or Do Not Disturb. On iOS, disable Low Power Mode and keep Background App Refresh on. On Android, allow Alarms & reminders, disable battery optimization for Upzy, and allow Display over other apps.
There’s no sound when the alarm fires
Check system volume and the silent / mute switch. Pick a non-silent alarm sound in the alarm editor. On iOS, Critical Alerts (when granted) bypass silent mode.
A mission keeps failing (camera, steps, squats, push-ups)
Allow Camera and Motion & Fitness permissions for Upzy in system settings. Scan-based missions need decent lighting and a clear view of the target. Step missions require actual walking detected by the motion sensor — shaking the phone won’t count.
AI scan or photo-match isn’t working
AI verification needs an internet connection. Try again, move to better light, or temporarily switch to a different mission type if the network is unreliable.
I subscribed but Pro isn’t unlocked
Open Settings → Restore purchases while signed in with the same Apple or Google account you used to purchase. Allow a few minutes after the transaction. If it still doesn’t unlock, email us with your store receipt.
How does the free trial work?
If a trial is offered on the paywall, you’ll see the length and price before you confirm. Trials convert into a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. You can cancel any time from your Apple or Google subscription settings (links above).
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Delete account. Your account and the data associated with it are removed from our database within 30 days. Local data is removed when you uninstall the app.
I’m on TestFlight / a beta build
TestFlight builds and the production App Store build are separate installs and have separate purchase records. If you’re reporting an issue, please tell us which build you’re on.
Reporting a bug
Email support@upzy.app with your iOS or Android version, the Upzy app version (Settings → About), and the steps to reproduce. Screenshots or a short screen recording help a lot.
